I was unsure as to where to go for a remap, I drive a 13 plate 1.6d BMW 1 series and have had it since 2013. I was happy with my car but progressively over the years, I have grown tired of its lacking torque and power.
So I decided to take the plunge and look into getting a remap. I called one company that promised the world at 150BHP but I am a firm believer in buying local.
So as you do, I contacted a bunch of different companies around Macclesfield and then found Macclesfield ECU Remapping. I spoke with a rather nice chap called Lee over the phone and he explained the procedure and what was actually possible safely for my car.
I dropped the car off and on picking it back up Lee let me know what BHP it was at 130BHP. I took the car away and what can I say but WOW!!!!!! This has seriously made me fall back in love with my dear old 1 series again. What is was lacking in torque and power it now has more than enough. At the top end, my car literally would not pull at all and now it keeps on giving. I cannot recommend this company any higher, I will certainly be telling all my friends and customers that come to my business.
